Room #4 – The Carousel Room

Located on the south side of the second floor, you are greeted by the whimsical, floppy horse sprawled in the middle of the burgundy floral quilt on the full size bed. There is also a twin bed and a connecting door to the Mother Goose Room. This room has an attached bath with a true claw-footed bathtub . . . plenty big enough for you and the bubbles!

February 2013: What a surprise! My husband did not tell me where we were going for dinner and surprised me with dinner at Fawn Brook and a romantic night at Allenspark Lodge. This was the best Valentine’s ! This lodge reminds us of a special place in Stone, Vermont that we really love. We are looking forward to the breakfast that smells so good. Thank you for the wonderful experience, Stephanie & Josh

August 2011: When we were here 2 years ago, I wrote in this book that we were already talking about our ‘next’ time here. I am so glad that we got back here. It was just as peaceful and enjoyable this time. The lodge is wonderful – but the living beings give it heart. Thanks Bill & Juanita (and Sophie and Jesse & Ranger and Washoe and Estes!) June 2011: Last stop on our WTW [Walter Tishma Way] inn to inn hike. Hospitality was fabulous, room cozy & loved the creaky floors. Would love to come back with my family. P.S. Love the dove! Cathy, Lincoln, Nebraska

August 2010: OK. Without a doubt one of our favorite things to do is expose new friends to your world – words do not do justice – pictures pale in comparison & everyone sees what we see & falls in love with the both of you just like Janelle & I did – and that is a blast to watch happen!  Looking forward to trying out our Next Room – 4 is definitely in the running as a favorite! August 2010: Bill, Juanita, & Tel - Great views, great food, great ride, great company! We LOVED our stay with you! What started as an offhand suggestion turned into a great time meeting real-life bloggers.  We must do this again! We enjoyed so many blog worthy moments – from our first arrival at dinnertime and being made to feel like family – to our walk back to the lodge after a flat  Loved being serenaded on the trail and the hilarity every time we sat down for a meal. (Which were unbelievable, by the way!) Our stay was far too short! God bless! Love, Rachel & Paula, Washington State
